What ____ was that ____?

Was that

?

What color was that feeling?

Some feelings stain. Others fade.
But all of them, in some way, leave color behind.

Blue and orange have always been a combination that stuck out for me. The contrast of the deep blue of night against the domestic glow of orange, taking me back to the nights I walked out after an argument, passing under the black shadows of lampshades, wandering the neighborhood streets, crying into the dark.

We all have colors that speak to a very specific feeling we once felt. Not every feeling fits into words, but they all seem to belong to color.
